What you will do

• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic, medical, surgical, and dental procedures to ensure quality care.
• Develop strong rapport with clients, communicating diagnoses and presenting detailed treatment plans.
• Educate pet parents on preventative health care, including vaccinations and nutritional products.
• Maintain comprehensive client and patient medical records and surgical logs following established protocols.
• Mentor and support the paraprofessional team, including Veterinary Technicians and Assistants.
• Oversee operating, safety, and compliance procedures in accordance with applicable laws and policies.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM, VMD).
• Active State license in good standing and a DEA license.
• 2-3 years of experience in general medicine and surgery.
• Completion of residency or internship training.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Colorado (Denver, Fort Collins, Louisville, or Littleton).
