What you will do

• Manage the Engineering Change Request and Engineering Change Order process from initial problem statement through implementation.
• Coordinate product improvements and new product releases across engineering and operations functions.
• Review ECO content, bills of material, customer and organizational impact, and affected products and processes.
• Estimate manufacturing costs, define time standards, and recommend tooling, process, and design-for-manufacturing improvements.
• Collect operational and test data, perform root-cause and failure analysis, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Route ECOs, coordinate Change Implementation Board participants, update change status, and support process improvement projects.

Requirements

• B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of ECR/ECO processes, roles, responsibilities, forms, instructions, and policies.
• Experience with Teamcenter Engineering, SAP/PDM, and engineering change management systems.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, UGNX, MS Office, Lotus Notes, Visio, or comparable systems.
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods, materials, lean principles, supplier manufacturing processes, and cross-functional collaboration.
