Production Planner, Manufacturing

Location: Farmingdale, New York, United States; onsite production environment

Salary: $67,265–$112,109 per year, with a possible annual or quarterly bonus and shift premium for eligible alternative-shift roles.

What you will do

• Plan and coordinate production activities, material flow, fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing flow paths.
• Maintain production schedules by tracking completed work, work in process, material availability, and delivery status.
• Expedite purchasing, receiving, inspection, manufacturing, and other operations that may delay schedules.
• Coordinate with department supervisors, Engineering, and other departments on project status, drawing releases, clarifications, and engineering change notices.
• Review work-in-process inventory records, ensure shop-order requirements are satisfied, and maintain accurate system documentation.
• Prepare status reports, document completed work, report losses and rework, and submit products for selloff.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• At least 7 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of MRP systems and manufacturing processes.
• Working knowledge of electromechanical assembly processes.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general PC software.
• Must comply with US export-control requirements; access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.
