Sr. Waferfab Technician - Post Fab (N1 Shift) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Essex Junction, United States; onsite N1 shift, 7 PM–7 AM on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and rotating Saturdays

Salary: $45,800–$87,600 per year

What you will do

• Execute new product introduction and production flows for wafer and package test operations.
• Run test tools manually and identify issues and flow inhibitors during process execution.
• Monitor key performance indicators and investigate test-limited yield issues.
• Support manufacturing readiness activities as new products enter volume ramp.
• Improve NPI and manufacturing test processes for commercial, automotive RF mixed-signal, and silicon photonics products.
• Collaborate on structured problem solving and root-cause analysis for quality incidents.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of semiconductor manufacturing or relevant manufacturing experience involving product flow and root-cause analysis.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in engineering technology or a related field.
• Hands-on mechanical experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Lean tools skills for waste removal, standardization, and sustaining improvements.
• Knowledge of semiconductor test processes and fabrication.
