Change Manager (PUMA)

Location: Full-time onsite in Hull, United Kingdom, at Saltend Chemical Park

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end change management across the PUMA projects, including Early Warnings, Compensation Events, quotations, assessments, and implementation.
• Coordinate Commercial, Project Management, Planning, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients on change matters.
• Prepare and critically review Compensation Event quotations covering scope, quantities, cost, programme impact, risk, and contractual entitlement.
• Manage the Change Register, contractual deadlines, evidence files, forecasts, commercial reporting, and reconciliation with contract-management systems.
• Challenge incorrect classifications, valuations, rejected quotations, and assessments while protecting hirify.global’s contractual and commercial position.
• Drive timely agreement, implementation, escalation, and resolution of outstanding or contentious change.

Requirements

• Significant commercial, quantity surveying, or contract-management experience on major engineering, infrastructure, energy, or construction projects.
• Strong practical experience administering NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts, particularly Compensation Events and change management.
• Understanding of NEC Option B, measurement principles, quantities, rates, programme provisions, and the relationship between time, cost, and change.
• Experience preparing, reviewing, and negotiating complex Compensation Event quotations.
• Experience with contract-management systems such as FastDraft and/or CEMAR.
• Degree or equivalent professional experience in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Law, or a related discipline.
