Facilities Operations Manager (Robotics)

Location: Detroit, United States; on-site presence required. Travel up to 50% within the US with occasional international travel.

hirify.global develops robotics solutions and is establishing a new US facility with an AI-robotics training center.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end setup of the new US facility, including site readiness, fit-out, infrastructure, equipment, and operational launch.
• Plan and manage build-out projects across scope, schedule, budget, quality, and operational readiness.
• Source, onboard, and supervise contractors, vendors, and external service providers, including service agreements and SLAs.
• Coordinate building systems and facility infrastructure such as power, HVAC, network cabling, IT connectivity, security, safety systems, workspace configuration, and storage.
• Launch and operate the NeuraGym AI-robotics training center for multiple concurrent customer training projects.
• Establish facility safety, maintenance, logistics, inventory, budgeting, asset management, and continuous improvement processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Facility or Operations Management, Applied Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in facilities, operations, or build-out leadership, including direct ownership of site setup.
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, and external service providers from sourcing through on-site supervision.
• Hands-on knowledge of power, HVAC, network and cabling, security, safety, IT connectivity, and related building infrastructure.
• Experience turning greenfield or first-of-a-kind initiatives into clear processes, standards, and repeatable playbooks.
• Background in robotics, advanced manufacturing, automation, autonomous systems, or complex B2B and industrial environments.
