Global Trade Analyst

Location: Remote, hybrid, or onsite in the United States; remote work excludes North Dakota, Vermont, and Rhode Island. US citizenship or permanent resident status required.

Salary: $63,000–$99,500 annually. For specific locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $78,500–$117,500 annually.

What you will do

• Determine and document classification designations for parts, equipment, and technology.
• Interpret international trade regulations and provide compliance guidance to hirify.global personnel.
• Ensure the proper use of export authorizations, including licenses, agreements, exemptions, and exceptions.
• Maintain required compliance records and monitor regulatory changes.
• Review contracts for global trade requirements.
• Work with commercial invoices, shipper’s letters of instruction, carnets, and EEI filings.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in regulatory trade compliance.
• Familiarity with export control and international trade concepts, including ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and FTR.
• Familiarity with OCR EASE, DECCS, SNAP-R, and ACE.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively under pressure and ambiguity.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
