Senior Category Manager, Europe (Foodservice)

Location: Remote from anywhere within the UK or Europe. The listed company location is Newcastle West, Limerick, Ireland.

What you will do

• Develop and execute European category strategies for Frozen Vegetables, Frozen Fruits, and Frozen Potato.
• Optimise product ranges, assortment architecture, supplier portfolios, innovation roadmaps, and product lifecycles.
• Use internal data, supplier insights, market intelligence, competitor analysis, and category performance data to drive decisions.
• Manage supplier relationships and mitigate supply chain and market risks.
• Lead sourcing, supplier selection, negotiations, commercial terms, and range development for strategic new business projects.
• Collaborate with FSQA, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Commercial, procurement, and local merchandising teams.

Requirements

• Significant experience in category management, sourcing, and supplier management.
• Experience in foodservice, retail, FMCG, or food manufacturing is preferred.
• Proven ability to drive sales, margin improvement, category growth, and procurement value.
• Strong analytical skills, including consumer insights, supplier intelligence, market data, and financial analysis.
• Experience with cross-functional projects, new product launches, and European or international supplier negotiations is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English is required.
