Group Category Manager – Digital

Location: Hybrid role based at hirify.global HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden, combining remote and onsite work.

What you will do

• Develop and execute digital category roadmaps and sourcing strategies linked to financial and operational objectives.
• Drive cost optimization, supplier performance management, value creation, and strategic supplier negotiations.
• Lead opportunity assessments, spend analysis, contract management, pricing model evaluation, and supplier market exploration.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and align internal and external partners around shared procurement goals.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of procurement professionals.
• Provide recommendations to senior leadership and build strategic networks with suppliers, Geely Group, and Volvo Cars.

Requirements

• University degree, preferably a Master's degree, in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering & Management, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience, including a minimum of three years leading people.
• Extensive experience in category management, procurement, strategic sourcing, and negotiations within a large enterprise.
• Strong analytical capabilities in spend analysis, opportunity assessment, pricing model evaluation, and contract management.
• Extensive experience with digital procurement categories, including digital hardware, software licensing, and digital services.
• English is required for written and spoken communication.
