Site Electrician (Advanced Electronics)

Location: Marlborough, Massachusetts, United States; onsite day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm

What you will do

• Install, maintain, test, calibrate, and repair electrical distribution systems, control instruments, pneumatic process controls, and related equipment.
• Provide first-contact support for operations, maintenance, and automation engineers, troubleshooting issues that affect manufacturing.
• Perform condition monitoring, preventive maintenance, software and hardware maintenance, and reliability activities for control systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain DeltaV, GE Fanuc, Allen-Bradley PLC, VFD, and communication systems.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and programming of electrical and control systems for upgrades and new installations.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with departments, contractors, utilities, and city and state authorities.

Requirements

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Massachusetts electrician license at minimum Journeyman level.
• At least four years of industrial maintenance experience in electrical and instrument maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with DeltaV systems and PLCs, plus general computer skills with Microsoft software.
• Ability to follow PPE, safety hazard assessment, safe work permit, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Ability to perform physical work including lifting or moving up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and working in various crouched or bent positions.
