Opto Mech/Tech 2 - 2nd Shift (Optical Systems)

Location: Irvine, CA, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Hourly pay: $18.89–$31.49 USD per hour

What you will do

• Audit work-order kits from the warehouse and verify parts and part numbers.
• Prepare subassembly components and assemble optical systems according to written procedures and technical drawings.
• Debug systems containing optical, mechanical, and electronic components.
• Test assemblies through four to five process levels and at the system level using laboratory instruments.
• Perform alignment, optimization, stability, and transmission checks.
• Package completed final assemblies and participate in cross-training as a trainee or trainer.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of related experience for Level 2; 0–2 years may qualify for Level 1.
• Ability to work in a clean room environment.
• Experience entering numerical data into Microsoft Excel spreadsheet templates.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Applicants generally must reside in a state where MKS is registered to do business.
• Some positions may require U.S.-person status for access to ITAR- or EAR-controlled goods and technologies.
