Senior Manager, Accounting (Finance)

Location: New York, NY, United States

Salary: $135,000–$155,000 USD base salary per year, exclusive of bonus potential or commission; equity is also provided.

What you will do

• Own day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close, reconciliations, variance explanations, and financial reporting.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate and timely financial data.
• Strengthen internal controls, compliance, and financial processes with an audit-focused approach.
• Research technical accounting matters and prepare well-supported memos for audits and financial reporting.
• Improve and scale accounting systems and workflows as the business grows.
• Support external audits, tax filings, and other regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience with a strong foundation in audit.
• CPA license.
• Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience researching, analyzing, and documenting technical accounting positions and memos.
• Familiarity with modern accounting tools and process improvement.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, communication, and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in technology, e-commerce, or a high-growth startup environment.
• NetSuite ERP experience.
