Software Development Engineer III (Python)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software supporting Trading & Risk Management Systems.
• Build risk analytics and reporting capabilities for Greeks, VaR, PFE, and XVA calculations.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and microservices integrated with internal and external systems.
• Integrate market data feeds from vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and Markit.
• Apply AI-assisted development and contribute to Agentic AI workflow, reasoning, and automation solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to code reviews, testing, CI/CD, documentation, and platform modernization.

Requirements

• Hands-on Python development experience and strong software development experience in Python or another object-oriented language.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience in the financial services industry.
• Experience with Trading & Risk Management Systems, risk analytics or reporting platforms, and trading, pricing, or risk workflows.
• Experience integrating market data vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Markit, or comparable platforms.
• Experience developing backend applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Proficiency with Git, testing frameworks, automation, and CI/CD pipelines; a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating LLM-based capabilities, AI agents, or intelligent automation into enterprise applications.
• Exposure to AI/ML or Agentic AI frameworks in enterprise environments.
