Automation Developer, Blue Prism

Location: Remote from São Paulo, Brazil

Salary: USD 30,000–40,000 per year, with possible discretionary bonus and/or equity awards.

What you will do

• Architect, design, develop, and implement robust Blue Prism automations for client projects.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical designs and deliver automation solutions according to development standards.
• Participate in user acceptance testing, resolve defects, and provide second-line technical support for deployed automations.
• Develop and support Blue Prism workflows, RPA processes, and agent processes using Python applications.
• Review peer automations, improve reusable components, and contribute to Blue Prism development standards and best practices.
• Design internal Professional Services automations and support testing, feedback, and enablement for new Blue Prism features.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of software development experience and experience leading delivery projects or contributing significantly to large implementations.
• Blue Prism Certified Developer accreditation; Professional Developer, Solution Designer, or ROM Architect certification is highly desirable.
• Strong Python programming skills, including object-oriented programming, project structuring, asynchronous programming, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, including SQL Server or Oracle, plus REST/SOAP web services and API integration.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in both English and Spanish are mandatory.
• Client-facing consulting skills, analytical problem-solving, technical documentation, UAT participation, defect management, and change-control experience.

Nice to have

• Hands-on Blue Prism development experience and knowledge of Control Room, Work Queues, Credentials, Exceptions, Logging, infrastructure, and deployment considerations.
• Blue Prism Professional Developer, Solution Designer, or ROM Architect certification.
• Adaptability, proactive continuous-improvement mindset, teamwork, and the ability to work independently.
