PL/SQL Developer (Oracle)

Location: Porto, Portugal; hybrid work required two days per week

What you will do

• Develop production-grade Oracle PL/SQL code.
• Optimize database performance and design complex queries.
• Work within Scrum or Kanban teams and contribute to iterative delivery and team ceremonies.
• Use CI/CD tools and collaborate with developers and business analysts on application design.
• Analyze business needs, propose proactive technical solutions, and support on-call activities.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience as a PL/SQL developer.
• Strong Oracle PL/SQL expertise, including performance optimization and complex query design.
• Familiarity with Java or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and Agile ways of working.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent English at B2 level; based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit; available for hybrid work in Porto two days per week.
