What you will do

• Build designs for emulation, run tests, identify failure points, capture failure waves, and perform initial triage.
• Improve, maintain, and expand emulation testbench components, including custom IP and AVIP where applicable.
• Collaborate with technical teams and support debugging efforts.
• Develop and maintain scalable scripts for use across product lines.
• Analyze emulator behavior to optimize debugging strategies and improve build performance and resource usage.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree with at least 2 years of practical experience.
• Experience with emulation platforms such as Veloce, Zebu, or Palladium.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, TCL, Bash, and Makefile.
• Strong debugging skills covering CPU-internal, integration, emulator configuration or synthesis, script, Linux configuration, and software issues.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IP integration, interconnects, bridges, tieoffs, memory-mapped registers, clocks, and resets.
• RISCV assembly experience.
• Experience with AMBA protocols such as AHB, APB, or AXI.
• Linux kernel and revision control experience with Perforce or Git.
