Regional Development Applications Engineer - MACH (Semiconductor)

Location: Austin, Texas, USA; primarily onsite at customer locations more than 75% of the time, with approximately 15–30% travel to other customer sites.

Salary: $97,600–$165,900 annually.

What you will do

• Provide onsite and remote application support to customers.
• Deliver product demonstrations and conduct end-user training.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Applications, and R&D teams to resolve critical customer issues.
• Track customer issues, provide timely updates, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Act as the technical interface between customers and internal teams to support successful product adoption.
• Travel to customer sites and manage priorities in a dynamic, customer-driven environment.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of pattern image processing, particularly in SEM applications.
• Experience with Linux and programming languages such as Python, C, or C++.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work primarily onsite at customer locations and travel approximately 15–30% to other customer sites.
