Manager, Accounting Operations

Location: New York, NY; candidates based in NYC or the Bay Area are preferred, with remote work available for the right candidate.

Salary: $115,000–$135,000 USD annual base salary, plus potential bonus, commission, and equity.

What you will do

• Own day-to-day accounts payable, expense management, and travel operations.
• Build the procurement function, including vendor management and spend controls.
• Partner with legal, people, and IT teams to streamline finance processes.
• Use AI tools to automate and improve team workflows.
• Support billing operations and collaborate on month-end close, audits, and reporting.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, or a related field; an accounting background is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable, expense management, and travel programs.
• Experience with or exposure to procurement and vendor management tools and processes.
• Ability to build processes and develop creative solutions to operational problems.
• Genuine fluency with AI tools.

Nice to have

• Experience building a procurement function from the ground up.
• Background in a high-growth technology or e-commerce company.
• Familiarity with Zip, Ramp, or Navan.
