Cybercrime Analyst - Day Shift (Cybersecurity)

Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia; hybrid flexibility with a minimum of two office days per week after training. Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM; weekend work is required.

What you will do

• Respond to cybercrime incidents and communicate cyber-threat analysis to relevant parties.
• Classify malicious websites, social media profiles, applications, emails, and phone numbers.
• Provide clear and professional feedback to customers about incidents and classifications.
• Identify innovative ways to rapidly disrupt cyber-attacks against clients.
• Suggest improvements to operational processes and workflows.
• Collaborate with the Technical Operations team and colleagues across different functions.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills and a high standard of written English.
• Attention to detail, adaptability, intellectual curiosity, and a positive, solution-focused approach.
• Interest in the internet and cybercrime prevention.
• Ability to analyse and use technical information and handle incoming phone calls.
• Self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Cybersecurity experience and a relevant degree may be useful but are not essential; full training is provided.
