SOC Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Monitor in-house security tooling for real-time alerts and suspicious activity.
• Triage, investigate, document, and escalate security incidents using established playbooks.
• Perform in-depth log analysis across customer environments, networks, endpoints, and cloud platforms.
• Support incident containment and remediation while collaborating with internal teams.
• Improve detection content by identifying gaps, false positives, and tuning opportunities.
• Participate in threat hunting, proactive investigations, and onboarding new security tools and processes.

Requirements

• Hands-on alert triage experience in a SOC, MSP, MSSP, or internal security team.
• Ability to work with KQL and independently query sign-in, audit, and hunting data.
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Entra ID security knowledge, including authentication flows, conditional access, OAuth, app consent, mailbox permissions, delegation, and audit trails.
• Practical understanding of MITRE ATT&CK and identity-led attacks against Microsoft 365.
• Sound judgement when assessing evidence and confidence communicating uncertainty.
• Clear, concise written English for a technical audience under time pressure.
