Manufacturing Test Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Define and execute manufacturing test strategies across EVT, DVT, PVT, and production phases.
• Develop automated test frameworks and diagnostic tools using Python to ensure high coverage and fast failure isolation.
• Configure and manage work orders and test flows within MES systems to ensure traceability and throughput.
• Lead test bring-up for new products and support factory ramp-up by validating test stations.
• Perform root cause analysis on failures and implement continuous improvements to test effectiveness and yield.
• Build systems for automated data collection and reporting to provide insights on test and field performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing test, hardware validation, or production engineering.
• Strong experience with automated test development and scripting, preferably in Python.
• Hands-on experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DAQs, and sensors.
• Familiarity with MES systems, manufacturing workflows, and hardware-software integration.
• Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.

Nice to have

• Experience with robotics, autonomous systems, or complex electromechanical products.
• Background in high-volume manufacturing or contract manufacturer environments.
• Knowledge of vision systems, calibration processes, or HIL/SIL testing frameworks.
