APAC Reconciliations Analyst (Financial Operations)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; hybrid 3+2 model combining office and home working

What you will do

• Reconcile client investment positions on hirify.global platforms against external provider positions across the Asia-Pacific region.
• Review reconciliation reports, identify discrepancies, classify exceptions, and manage issues through resolution.
• Investigate root causes across cash, stock, investment, registry, term deposit, and sub-custodian records.
• Liaise with internal teams and external counterparties to resolve exceptions in a timely and controlled manner.
• Maintain accurate records and protect the integrity of client investment and cash positions.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification; experience in financial operations is preferred.
• Proficiency in MSSQL, Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new technologies.
• Ability to work across New Zealand, Australia, and Asian jurisdictions while navigating different regulatory and operational requirements.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills for financial market and IT system issues.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, stakeholder management abilities, and effective teamwork.
• Ability to deliver projects, research project-related issues, adapt to shifting priorities, and work autonomously.
