College Intern - Mechanical Design Engineering

What you will do

• Design mechanical components and systems, including case parts and mechanisms, using CAD tools.
• Perform Design for Manufacturing, Design for Assembly, and tolerance stack-up analyses.
• Use simulation software for dynamic analyses and configuration optimization.
• Develop and refine prototypes based on simulations and conceptual designs.
• Collaborate with engineers on project requirements, specifications, and performance objectives.
• Test and evaluate prototypes for stability, reliability, and compliance with design standards.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• Available for a 5–6 month full-time internship starting in January 2027.
• Knowledge of mechanical design and basic understanding of electrical systems, sensors, and programming.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CREO Elements/Direct.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability and enthusiasm for self-directed learning.
