Contract Heavy Equipment Operator (Robotics)

Startup developing and deploying autonomous capabilities for heavy construction equipment and real-world infrastructure projects.

What you will do

• Operate excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, forklifts, and other heavy machinery.
• Inspect equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and report mechanical issues.
• Follow site procedures, OSHA standards, and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with crew members, supervisors, site managers, and engineering teams.
• Work efficiently outdoors in a fast-paced environment while meeting project deadlines and quality standards.
• Work Monday through Friday, with weekend flexibility when project demands require it.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of hands-on heavy equipment operating experience.
• Experience operating, maintaining, and inspecting heavy machinery on construction or industrial sites.
• Strong hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and spatial awareness.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred where applicable.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform manual labor as required.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.

Nice to have

• CDL, where applicable.
• OSHA or equipment-specific certifications.
