Sr. Layout Engineer (Analog/Mixed-Signal)

What you will do

• Develop physical layouts for analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits.
• Estimate layout schedules, plan chips, and estimate die sizes.
• Place devices at the block level according to matching requirements and implement blocks at the top level.
• Apply signal matching and sensitive-net shielding techniques.
• Design pad and ESD routing and connections.
• Perform DRC and LVS verification and complete chip tapeouts according to established procedures.

Requirements

• Experience with layout for analog and/or mixed-signal circuit design.
• Ability to plan chips, estimate die size, and project schedules.
• Ability to independently resolve DRC and LVS verification issues and tape out chips.
• Familiarity with analog process fundamentals.
• Experience with Cadence and/or Virtuoso tools is preferred.
• Professional and independent approach with a positive attitude.
