Salary: $138,200–$204,460 per annum

What you will do

• Hire, lead, and develop a team of analog layout designers.
• Perform hands-on macro-level analog layout work.
• Assess schedules, floor plans, project risks, and workarounds for digital macros and layout projects.
• Manage layout schedules and coordinate hiring needs.
• Work with CAD, technology, and circuit design teams to align layout schedules with overall project plans.
• Communicate complex layout concepts and issues across functions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of analog layout design experience and 3+ years of management experience.
• Deep understanding of layout methodology from initial chip planning through tape-out.
• High proficiency in LVS and DRC debugging, including interpretation of CALIBRE DRC, ERC, and LVS reports.
• Proficiency with Synopsys or Cadence layout entry tools.
• Strong technical, analytical, organizational, communication, conflict-resolution, and consensus-building skills.
• Ability to build and develop a high-performing analog layout team.

Nice to have

• Experience with advanced process technologies and FinFET.
• Programming experience with Skill, Ample, or Perl.
