Senior Product Manager, Language & Translation Platform (AI)

Location: McLean, Virginia, United States; hybrid with onsite work 3 days per week. Candidates based in the Tysons vicinity are prioritized.

Annual base salary: $170,500–$240,000 USD

What you will do

• Own the language strategy and roadmap for GenAI and Text Analytics, including prioritization of supported languages and feature parity.
• Define reusable processes, requirements, handoff standards, and frameworks for extending platform features into new languages.
• Own administration and control-plane capabilities for enabling and disabling languages by feature and tenant, including guarded preview support for unvalidated languages.
• Define multilingual processing, language routing, native-language versus translated workflows, and translation platform controls.
• Partner with engineering, data science, and annotation vendors on translation services, language-specific parsing, evaluation, and annotation pipelines.
• Align product managers, engineering, data science, and research teams around consistent multilingual platform behavior.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, a quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of product management experience in enterprise SaaS focused on data, analytics, NLP, ML, or AI products.
• Experience owning a horizontal or platform capability used by multiple feature teams.
• Experience designing reusable frameworks, developer tools, or shared service standards adopted across engineering teams.
• Understanding of AI/ML or NLP products, including evaluation, annotation, and model quality work with data science.
• Experience leading ambiguous infrastructure initiatives from technical requirements and architecture design through production rollout and monitoring.

Nice to have

• Experience with localization, translation, multilingual processing, and quality evaluation.
• Experience with GenAI and large language model applications such as summarization, classification, topic modeling, or agentic experiences.
• Experience with Customer Experience Management platforms, agile development, Productboard, or JIRA.
