Global Category Manager (Electronics): Manage $45M direct material spend on electronics components like motors, blowers, fans, power supplies, and subassemblies for bracing & support products with an accent on cost reduction, supplier consolidation, and performance optimization. Focus on leading negotiations, developing sourcing strategies, and executing cost savings initiatives across global supply chain.

Location: Dallas, TX preferred. Open to U.S. Remote. Must have full-time work authorization in the United States without sponsorship. Travel up to 25% including domestic and international (Tijuana, Mexico).

What you will do

• Manage portfolio of commodities for Prevention & Recovery Business Units as primary supplier contact.
• Analyze spend to identify cost improvement, consolidation, and simplification opportunities.
• Lead supplier contract negotiations and execute cost reduction programs to meet financial targets.
• Monitor supplier performance on cost, quality, and delivery metrics.
• Develop long-term sourcing strategies considering total landed cost, quality, and lead time.
• Facilitate supplier relationship management through KPIs and collaboration for innovation.

Requirements

• 5+ years progressive experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing, and supply planning.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience with global electronics supply chain, complex BOMs, and EOL components.
• Experience with MRP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite), negotiation, and contract development.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Detailed knowledge of strategic sourcing lifecycle and procurement best practices.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Certifications: CSCP or CPSM.
• Experience in high-growth or technology-driven organization.
• Familiarity with sustainable sourcing and supplier diversity.
