Formulation Scientist - Slurry

What you will do

• Develop and optimize slurry formulations for customer and market requirements.
• Design and execute experiments using design of experiments and statistical tools.
• Lead new product development and localization projects from concept through commercialization.
• Collaborate with application, product, raw material, commercial, and marketing functions.
• Analyze technical data, solve formulation challenges, and identify innovation opportunities.
• Ensure project execution, EHS compliance, and intellectual property protection.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Microelectronics, or a related field; alternatively, a master's degree with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in formulation development and DOE-driven product development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin are required.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, collaborative, and results-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Slurry formulation or CMP industry experience.
• Experience with statistical methods such as Six Sigma.
• Experience developing and commercializing new products in an industrial environment.
• Ability to work with global project teams across different time zones.
