Principal Software Systems QA Architect (Edge AI)

Location: Spring, Texas, United States of America

Salary: $147,050–$230,850 USD annually, plus potential bonus and/or equity for candidates in the United States.

What you will do

• Architect, implement, and maintain complex software systems and edge AI-enabled experiences.
• Partner with customers and product and design teams to validate concepts and translate feedback into architecture decisions.
• Lead system engineering, validation coverage, quality reviews, and progress reporting across the product lifecycle.
• Develop software systems architectures and methodologies across multiple platforms and organizations.
• Evaluate technologies, innovations, and outsourced development partnerships for roadmap alignment and integration.
• Mentor less-experienced staff and influence technical and business decisions across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, computer programming, or a related field.
• Experience with software architecture, quality assurance, automation, debugging, scalability, and software engineering.
• Knowledge of C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL, APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, microservices, AWS, and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience collaborating with software developers, system administrators, QA teams, project managers, customers, and executive stakeholders.
• Relocation is available.

Nice to have

• Certified Software Systems Engineer (CSSE) certification.
• Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification.
