Principal Technology Development Engineer (Semiconductors)

Salary: $140,000–$210,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain MPS power IC devices and semiconductor processes.
• Develop and qualify DMOS, Bipolar, CMOS, high-voltage, and BCD technologies.
• Coordinate with foundry, fabrication, design, mask design, mask shop, product engineering, and CAD teams.
• Define analog process design rules and verify them against design rule checks.
• Perform semiconductor device design, process and device simulation, test-structure layout, process experiments, and wafer-level electrical measurements.

Requirements

• MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field.
• 12+ years of experience in analog process and device development.
• 7+ years of experience developing or transferring BCD technologies.
• Familiarity with Bipolar, CMOS, DMOS, and high-voltage devices.
• Knowledge of semiconductor device physics, process and device simulation, design rules, SPICE model extraction, graphics layout software, and mask-making requirements.
