Accounts Receivable Specialist (Finance)

What you will do

• Process incoming payments, including wires, deposits, refunds, returned payments, and chargebacks.
• Post and reconcile payments while maintaining accurate account records.
• Manage accounts receivable balances and conduct collections outreach for past-due accounts.
• Advise students and partners on payment options and steps to resolve outstanding balances.
• Respond to inquiries by phone and email and collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Support reporting, audit documentation, compliance activities, and payment process improvements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, cashiering, or customer-facing finance roles.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to handle sensitive financial conversations.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
