Area Manager (Reverse Logistics)

Location: On-site in Hebron, Kentucky, United States; partial shift flexibility and potential split-schedule coverage may be required. Overtime is required during peak season 25–30% of the time.

What you will do

• Lead frontline warehouse operations for the Reverse Logistics department, ensuring consistent process execution, quality, and adherence to operational standards.
• Manage 20–30 associates and one supervisor, including performance management, staffing coordination, and enforcement of behavioral and process standards.
• Own 5S implementation, labor planning, process consistency, and reverse-logistics workflows across the warehouse network.
• Maintain operational tools and systems, including backend configurations, questionnaires, and workflows that improve associate efficiency.
• Coordinate with downstream liquidation partners to manage inventory flow, optimize recovery value, and protect brand standards.
• Analyze product disposition, recovery value, and process outcomes; build reporting and improve processes through hands-on analytics and process design.

Requirements

• Experience managing teams, ideally 20 or more employees, with successful frontline leadership in warehouse, manufacturing, or operations environments.
• Strong multitasking, prioritization, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills.
• Ability to evaluate processes, interpret data, and drive measurable improvements with financial impact.
• Experience building or improving tools, systems, or workflows; math- or science-based process optimization experience is preferred.
• Exposure to data analytics tools such as SQL and data visualization platforms; ability to work with backend systems and understand system architecture is preferred.
• Background in supply chain, operations, industrial or operations engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
• Ability to enter ambiguous or developing environments and build processes rather than rely on fully mature systems.
• Ability to balance operational execution with strategic thinking in reverse logistics, recovery value analysis, and liquidation networks.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Google Suite, and Gmail; willingness to embrace change.

• Experience managing 20 or more employees.
• Exposure to SQL, data visualization platforms, backend systems, and system architecture.
• Math- or science-based process optimization experience.
• Background connected to Purdue supply chain or operations programs.
