Engineering Manager (Payments)

What you will do

• Set pragmatic technical direction and promote high-quality software delivery.
• Lead and support multiple engineering teams across payment product lines.
• Partner with Product Architects, Engineering Management, and Delivery to align requirements, priorities, dependencies, and execution.
• Ensure timely, high-quality production releases and triage issues to identify root causes.
• Conduct one-to-ones, performance reviews, career management, interviews, and technical auditions.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives such as integrated test execution, DevOps, and performance engineering labs.

Requirements

• BSc, MSc, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience providing technical leadership, managing dependencies, and coordinating team deliverables.
• Ability to create fit-for-purpose solutions, documentation, technical options, and impact assessments.
• Ability to manage resources, reduce defects, support automated testability, and minimize release delays and rollbacks.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, inter-team collaboration, ownership, and accountability skills.
