Principal Product Manager, AI Platform

Location: Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite in Pleasanton, California; McLean, Virginia; or the United States. Candidates near Pleasanton or Tysons Corner will be prioritized.

Annual base salary: $186,000–$260,000 USD, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Drive product strategy and delivery for the AI Platform within the Experience Platform.
• Own roadmaps for cross-product platform workstreams, including scalable infrastructure, AI/ML frameworks, model extension, administration, and integrations.
• Develop AI consumption, usage tracking, and pricing mechanisms.
• Define non-functional requirements for AI/ML services, including SLAs, degradation monitoring, rate limiting, observability, and incident management.
• Build auditability and behavioral evaluation tools, while establishing Responsible AI standards for traceability, explainability, and regulatory alignment.
• Partner with Engineering, Design, Compliance, Research, Sales, Professional Services, and Marketing to deliver consistent and trustworthy AI experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of enterprise SaaS product and/or engineering management experience focused on data, analytics, and/or ML/AI products and services.
• Experience with AI model performance, feedback systems, Responsible AI tooling, ML pipelines, model serving, and feedback-loop integration.
• Understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across multiple departments.
• Hybrid onsite attendance is required three days per week in the listed United States locations.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of hands-on experience bringing enterprise AI/ML platforms or products from ideation to market.
• Experience building, launching, and scaling enterprise-grade AI platform solutions.
• Knowledge of explainability, model cards, auditing frameworks, policy alignment, and AI user experience design.
• Experience productionizing ML/GenAI capabilities with R&D and Research teams.
• Experience with customer experience management platforms, agile development, Productboard, or JIRA.
