TL;DR
Engineer I - Process (Photolithography) (Semiconductor manufacturing): Supporting and optimizing photolithography processes for Panel Level Packaging and Wafer Level Chip Scale Packaging with an accent on patterning stability, defect reduction, and yield improvement. Focus on process monitoring, CD and overlay control, root cause analysis, new product introduction, and equipment qualification in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.

Location: Philippines - Mphil 3; onsite work in a cleanroom environment. Shift work may be required to support production.

What you will do

  • Support end-to-end photolithography processes, including coating, exposure, development, pattern lamination, after-develop inspection, and critical-dimension metrology.
  • Monitor resist thickness uniformity, critical dimensions, overlay and alignment accuracy, and lithography defects.
  • Drive defect-reduction and cycle-time improvement projects through data analysis and trend monitoring.
  • Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, process development, and optimization.
  • Coordinate tool calibration, preventive maintenance, qualification, recipe setup, and validation with Equipment Engineering.
  • Support new product introduction, process qualification, work instructions, process specifications, recipes, and engineering change documents.

Requirements

  • Diploma or engineering degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  • Exposure to WLCSP or semiconductor processes.
  • Familiarity with positive- and negative-tone photoresists and lithography defect mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of DOE and SPC tools such as JMP, Minitab, Excel, or Infinity QS.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills with a detail-oriented and methodical approach.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom, handle photoresist, developer, and solvents, and support shift work when required.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience as a Nepes Process Technician or Engineer, particularly in photolithography.
  • Experience supporting process capability development for new technologies.
