Plant Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of manufacturing equipment, utilities, facilities, and production support systems.
• Develop preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs; analyze downtime and lead root cause investigations.
• Manage plant utilities and facility infrastructure, including compressors, extrusion equipment, chillers, electrical distribution, water, HVAC, fire protection, and cooling systems.
• Lead capital projects from feasibility studies through installation, commissioning, qualification, and acceptance of new equipment.
• Support production and quality teams with troubleshooting, process optimization, validation, automation, and digitalization initiatives.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, RESET, A3, 5S, OEE, cost-reduction, and energy-efficiency projects while maintaining EHS and management-system compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Professional Engineer or PRC Licensed Engineer status is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in plant engineering, maintenance engineering, manufacturing engineering, or facility management.
• Experience managing utilities, facility systems, capital projects, equipment reliability, and maintenance improvement programs.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems, SAP PM or similar maintenance systems, OEE, TPM, Reliability Engineering, and Asset Management.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, project management, budget control, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in cable manufacturing, extrusion, plastics, metal, automotive, electronics, or related industries.
• Knowledge of RCA, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, FMEA, and CAPA methodologies.
