Embedded Test Engineer (Embedded Systems)

What you will do

• Maintain and develop automated tests for embedded system firmware.
• Perform unit, module, integration, external functional, and regression testing.
• Develop test software, automation scripts, and tools using frameworks such as CppUTest, CUnit, Google Test, and Unity.
• Build unattended testing pipelines and integrate test execution with command-line tools or IDEs.
• Evaluate test coverage, diagnose issues, locate errors, and optimize code.
• Test MCU-based systems using firmware debugging and hardware analysis tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing or software development.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, shell scripting, or another programming language.
• Experience with MCU-based embedded systems, including ARM, RISC-V, or 8051.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD tools, and independently building test frameworks and automated scripts.
• Good written and spoken English is required for communication and documentation.
