Software Development Engineer (Embedded/IoT)

What you will do

• Design and execute test cases for low-level drivers, including automation of physical interactions with devices under test.
• Develop scripting and tools to support test execution and automate repetitive manual test cases.
• Support new board bring-up and manufacturing-line testing.
• Triage and maintain existing test automation and testbeds.
• Develop reliability-testing strategies for the hardware/software interaction layer.
• Develop API-testing strategies for the abstraction layer used by user-space applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Basic proficiency in C/C++ and understanding of digital electronics and embedded systems.
• Familiarity with low-level communication protocols such as I2C, PCIe, and USB.
• Experience developing for Linux and using Git for source code management.
• Experience with logic analyzers and other digital electronics test tools.
• Ability to work in English.

Nice to have

• Strong C/C++ development skills or Linux kernel development experience.
• Understanding of 802.11 networking and experience with Wireshark or similar traffic-analysis tools.
• Experience testing IoT or embedded systems in a Linux environment.
• Experience with Jenkins, Python, and Pytest.
• Interest in DIY IoT and robotics projects.
