Hardware Test Infrastructure Engineer (Embedded/Cloud)

Salary: $180,000–$220,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and scale ATLAS, the hardware regression testing and performance profiling infrastructure.
• Deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and analyze failures across FPGA, Ambiq, Apollo, PIC32, and Efficient E1 hardware platforms.
• Write, port, and maintain low-level C/C++ test programs measuring performance, power consumption, and functional behavior.
• Build Python tooling for workflow automation, result parsing, reporting, and performance dashboards.
• Maintain Kubernetes deployments for hardware-attached worker nodes, including job queueing, load balancing, scheduling, and resource management.
• Develop Go-based server and client applications and manage PostgreSQL and Redis, including schemas, queries, migrations, and reliability improvements.

Requirements

• Hands-on embedded hardware and software development experience, including embedded toolchains and new-platform bring-up.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of lead-level experience in cloud and embedded hardware infrastructure, test engineering, and full-stack systems.
• Strong Go experience building production services with HTTP APIs and WebSockets.
• Ability to write, debug, and maintain systems-level or test code in C/C++, plus solid Python experience for automation and scripting.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience and practical experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.

Nice to have

• Experience with JTAG/SWD debugging tools and workflows.
• Familiarity with power measurement tools, hardware-in-the-loop testing, or large-scale automated benchmarking.
• Background in performance profiling, benchmark design, or comparative hardware analysis.
• Experience with release engineering for cloud services and embedded firmware.
