Sr Director, Product Management - Personal Loans (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, United States. Hybrid work model with in-office attendance required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; remote placement will not be considered. Primarily PT working hours. Relocation is offered based on the actual job level.

Salary: $220,000–$255,000 annual base salary, plus potential equity and annual bonus.

What you will do

• Define the product vision, strategy, roadmap, success metrics, and investment priorities for Personal Loans.
• Lead product discovery through customer research, experimentation, quantitative analysis, and continuous learning.
• Ensure initiatives improve customer experience, growth, efficiency, and overall product health.
• Partner with Engineering, Research, Design, Risk, Operations, Marketing, and senior business leaders to deliver product outcomes.
• Lead, coach, hire, and develop a high-performing product organization focused on personal lending.
• Communicate product priorities, progress, tradeoffs, and outcomes to senior and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• 12+ years of product management experience, including 8+ years in people management.
• At least 3 years of product management experience in consumer lending, such as unsecured personal lending, credit cards, or student loans.
• Direct experience in a regulated lending environment, including fair lending requirements and consumer credit regulations.
• Experience partnering with credit risk, underwriting, or pricing teams on product decisions.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing product teams and influence senior business and executive leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
