Technical Business Analyst (Avaloq)

Location: Hybrid and flexible work in Makati City, Philippines

What you will do

• Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Investigate incidents, problems, defects, and change requests using hirify.global tools, logs, configuration, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and application data.
• Support the design and enhancement of APIs, interfaces, data flows, Data Warehouse solutions, and platform integration components.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Owners, Platform Engineering, Integration, Application Maintenance, and Release Management teams throughout the SDLC.
• Prepare documentation and test scenarios and support functional, integration, regression, release, and post-production validation activities.
• Drive continuous improvement by reducing recurring issues, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining traceability and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in technical business analysis, software development, or application maintenance within financial services.
• Hands-on experience with the hirify.global Core Banking Platform and knowledge of banking domains.
• Working knowledge of Oracle SQL/PLSQL for data analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigation.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, ITIL, audit, security, risk, compliance, change control, and release governance in regulated banking environments.
• Working knowledge of Java, APIs, interfaces, and system integrations.
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Gradle, and Artifactory, plus strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• ACCP Certification.
• Experience with other core banking technologies.
• Knowledge of OCI or AWS cloud technologies.
• Unix shell scripting experience.
