  • Develop, validate, and optimize integration processes for autonomous vehicle systems from prototype through full-rate production.
  • Provide hands-on support for production troubleshooting and resolve complex technical problems using 8D problem solving.
  • Create and maintain work instructions, torque specifications, visual aids, build checklists, process flow diagrams, PFMEAs, and control plans.
  • Lead DFM/DFA reviews, support prototype builds, and provide feedback to design and integration engineers.
  • Improve manufacturing efficiency through workflow, space, equipment-layout, waste-reduction, and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience, including low-volume prototyping and scalable production.
  • Experience creating detailed build documentation and designing, iterating, and validating processes across mechanical and electrical domains.
  • Background in automotive, aerospace, robotics, or similar system-level integration environments.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly processes, including torque specifications, fixturing, and connector systems.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools such as Inventor, SolidWorks, or Creo, plus comfort working in shop or lab environments and directly supporting build teams.

Nice to have

  • Experience with autonomous vehicle hardware, sensor and compute integrations, or low-volume high-mix production.
  • Experience leading root-cause analysis, developing PFMEAs, and using Six Sigma or Lean tools.
  • Experience developing tooling, dies, and check fixtures.

Culture & Benefits

  • Full-time benefits include equity for most high-demand roles and premium healthcare plans, including an HSA-eligible option.
  • Company-paid life, AD&D, and short- and long-term disability insurance.
  • 20 days of accrued PTO, an extensive holiday calendar, and a winter break.
  • At least 7 weeks of fully paid parental leave.
