Salary: $148,000–$181,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do
- Own assembly process development and sustaining from prototype builds through production ramp.
- Develop and qualify assembly processes, fixtures, and test methods using DOE, MSA/GR&R, and capability studies.
- Improve first-pass yield, process capability, cycle time, OEE, cost, variation, scrap, and rework.
- Investigate defects and process excursions, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and manage process transfers and changes.
- Influence product and process design through DFM, DFA, DFT, tolerance analysis, and mistake-proofing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years with a Master’s degree, focused on mechanical or electromechanical products.
- Hands-on experience developing and sustaining complex assembly processes from prototype through production.
- Proficiency in DOE, SPC, MSA/GR&R, process capability, statistical quality tools, and manufacturing data analysis.
- Experience with structured root-cause analysis, DFM/DFA/DFT, tolerance analysis, and measurable process improvement.
Nice to have
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Experience with robotic hands, compact actuators, or complex tight-tolerance electromechanical assemblies.
- Experience with automated assembly, machine vision, precision dispensing, fastening, joining, or end-of-line testing.
- Experience with MES or manufacturing traceability systems.
- Experience scaling low-volume, high-mix processes using lean manufacturing, line balancing, and automation.
