Manufacturing Technician II, Packaging (Biomanufacturing)

Location: USA - OH - West Chester; onsite work in controlled and non-classified manufacturing areas

Salary: $21.50–$32.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate, set up, and monitor packaging machinery, including recipe selection, data entry in SCADA and HMI systems, minor adjustments, and sensor challenges.
• Perform manual packaging, rework, palletizing, material handling, sampling, and visual quality inspections.
• Complete cleaning, sanitation, line clearance, inventory reconciliation, batch records, GMP documentation, and mathematical calculations.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues, clear jams, identify defects, and collaborate with technical resources on equipment problems.
• Support 5S, Kaizen, problem-solving, OEE data collection, equipment qualification, and process validation activities.
• Train team members as a certified OJT trainer and review SOPs, forms, and batch records for accuracy.

Requirements

• Experience in a pharmaceutical or cGMP-regulated environment.
• Ability to understand, read, write, communicate, and follow instructions in English.
• Strong attention to detail, accurate recordkeeping, and ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Ability to follow SOPs, cGMPs, safety procedures, PPE requirements, LOTO practices, and material and chemical handling protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a changing, demanding environment; some overtime may be required.
• Sponsorship or support for work authorization, including visas, is not available.

Nice to have

• High school, vocational school, or equivalent education.
• Prior production experience and knowledge of LEAN manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications and SAP.
• Knowledge of cGMPs and FDA policies and procedures.
