Focus on monitoring mission health, resolving cross-system issues, coordinating technical teams and partners, and improving service performance across the full mission lifecycle.
Location: Hybrid in Harwell, UK; Porto, Portugal; Barcelona, Spain; or Athens, Greece. Applicants must have the legal right to work in their chosen location.

What you will do
- Own the performance of assigned satellite missions and ensure reliable, high-quality data delivery across the full service chain.
- Act as the primary contact for satellite owners and promoters, aligning operational delivery with mission objectives.
- Monitor spacecraft health and performance across space and ground segments, identifying risks and issues proactively.
- Coordinate resolution of satellite, ground segment, and data-related incidents.
- Report on mission performance, service levels, and delivery against agreed objectives.
- Coordinate flight operations, ground systems, data platform teams, third-party partners, and subcontractors while supporting operational input to pre-sales proposals.
Requirements
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to translate business goals into operational outcomes.
- Experience with project and programme management, including planning, execution, and risk management.
- Strong issue management, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of satellite operations, including flight segments, ground segments, and mission workflows.
- Knowledge of data processing systems, geospatial data, imagery service chains, and Earth Observation or similar domains.
- Understanding of systems engineering, software systems, infrastructure, ECSS standards, and space industry practices.
