Director of Systems Delivery

What you will do

• Build and lead the Systems Delivery function across the complete lifecycle of full-stack silicon quantum systems.
• Coordinate hardware, software, systems integration, product, and operations teams across build schedules, software releases, dependencies, and trade-offs.
• Prepare internal and customer-site infrastructure for system deployment and commissioning.
• Establish delivery schedules, risk management practices, acceptance testing protocols, and governance processes.
• Develop post-installation support frameworks, service handoffs, and field engineering processes.
• Manage technical procurement, vendor relationships, supplier performance, and commercial delivery scoping.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing physical hardware systems such as quantum, semiconductor, aerospace, or advanced scientific instrumentation platforms.
• Experience with hardware-software integration, physical systems validation, facility readiness, and site-installation constraints.
• Experience building, managing, and mentoring hardware, systems integration, or field delivery teams.
• Track record of taking first-of-a-kind physical hardware platforms from prototype to repeatable deployment.
• Strong project management experience covering critical paths, budgets, risk registers, executive reporting, vendors, and component procurement.
• Willingness and eligibility to travel internationally to customer sites as required.

Nice to have

• Technical background in quantum computing systems, cryogenic systems, silicon platforms, or HPC architectures.
• Experience establishing field support, service handoffs, or customer support operations for complex hardware.
• Experience scaling system assembly and delivery operations in a deep-tech environment.
