Indirect Procurement Specialist – Software & Vendor Management

Location: On-site in Irvine, California, United States

Salary: $85,000–$105,000 per year, depending on experience

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end indirect procurement across software, SaaS, technology, facilities, warehouse operations, professional services, and corporate operations.
• Gather business requirements, develop sourcing strategies, conduct market research, and manage RFQ/RFP processes.
• Evaluate suppliers, analyze bids, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and coordinate software licensing and subscription agreements.
• Prepare vendor comparisons, cost analyses, business cases, and sourcing recommendations for leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Manage vendor onboarding, compliance documentation, contract administration, supplier performance, and procurement timelines.
• Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Facilities, Warehouse, IT, and other internal stakeholders while improving procurement processes and cost management.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of indirect procurement experience supporting non-inventory categories.
• Experience with software, SaaS, technology services, software licensing, cloud-based solutions, or related technology vendors.
• Experience leading RFQ/RFP processes, supplier evaluations, sourcing projects, vendor negotiations, and contract management.
• Experience presenting sourcing recommendations, vendor analyses, business cases, or procurement strategies to leadership.
• Strong vendor management, stakeholder communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and work on-site in Irvine, California.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with facilities, warehouse, distribution, operations, or corporate procurement.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience developing procurement processes, vendor governance practices, or sourcing frameworks.
