Procurement Specialist (Indirect Materials/ Services)

Location: Piscataway, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year, based on experience.

What you will do

• Manage source-to-pay and procure-to-pay cycles, including RFx, contracts, purchase orders, acceptance processes, and invoice coordination.
• Conduct sourcing activities, prepare pricing comparisons, and complete RFx processes in the procurement system.
• Negotiate supplier pricing, terms, contracts, and long-term agreements while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage vendor onboarding, material code creation, contract reviews, and acceptance processes.
• Coordinate with vendors, Legal, Finance, end users, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure policy compliance and timely payments.
• Lead procurement process training for internal users and provide guidance on procurement best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of procurement experience focused on indirect categories such as CAPEX, services, and MRO.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Project management skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Role location: Piscataway, New Jersey, United States.
