SAP BASIS with RISE Lead

Location: Houston, United States. Ability to travel up to 75% or more is required.

Salary: $82,082–$193,440 base compensation annually.

What you will do

• Administer and configure SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW, NetWeaver, and HANA systems in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Manage installations, upgrades, patches, migrations, system copies, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Support RISE with SAP cloud infrastructure in collaboration with SAP, hyperscalers, and external partners.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, security, and cloud resource utilization.
• Troubleshoot SAP landscape issues, provide incident management, and support application changes.
• Provide technical guidance during project delivery, go-live, and post-go-live support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of SAP BASIS experience, including cloud-based environments.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, NetWeaver, HANA databases, and RISE with SAP architecture.
• Experience with Oracle, DB2, MaxDB, Sybase, or SQL Server databases and Linux, Unix, or Wintel environments.
• Experience building servers from the ground up and collaborating with infrastructure teams.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to travel up to 75% or more.

Nice to have

• SAP BASIS, S/4HANA, or RISE with SAP certifications.
• Experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure SAP cloud environments.
